From Geek.com's review of the ER1 Personal Robot by Matthew Humphries. Anthrobytes wrote most of this manual:

The documentation is quite extensive, presented in an easy, flip-open book format. The assembly instructions are situated at the back of the book as an appendix. This is one of the highlights of the robot: the 32-step assembly procedure is accompanied by large pictures and detailed instructions (where required) to make the process as simple as possible...Overall it's a very good set of documentation...

...Some simple steps companies can take to improve [product] reliability and satisfaction. Documentation needs to be better...
Bill Howard, PC Magazine, August 2002

Poor product documentation costs you in unacceptable return rates, high support costs, and bad product reviews. You can reduce or avoid these costs with good product documentation

Product documentation is part of the product—often, it's the first part of the product your users see. Your customers use the product manuals to decide the product's applicability, suitability, and reliability.

Improving your product documentation is the best and cheapest thing you can do to improve your product.
